RAIN Coalition Hails Restoration of EBITDA Standard in Tax Code

Restoring the EBITDA standard for interest deductibility will spur U.S. job creation, investment, and growth.

WASHINGTON – The Restore American Investment Now (RAIN) Coalition today praised the House Ways and Means Committee for introducing legislation to restore the EBITDA standard for interest deductibility.

“Restoring EBITDA will boost U.S. competitiveness, drive economic expansion, support job creation, and increase wages, especially in capital-intensive sectors like manufacturing, infrastructure, and mining. These industries are the backbone of the American economy and have been disproportionately impacted by the current EBIT-based limit. Such measures are vital to strengthening domestic industries and putting America first and we applaud the Committee’s leadership on this issue and look forward to working with Congress to enact it into law.”
